The Cause of the Wise

I was not born
to win, but only to fight;
I was not made for comfort,
but to take risk; I was not
built for fame, but for amusement;
I was and was not a solution;
but a question, a query,
a problem.

The foolish wise are fooled
Into thinking that they are different;
They geared themselves to war against
those who are actually their kins;
As thieves hate their fellow thieves,
a wrongdoer hates a pal offender;
Going against each other
armed with philosophies
that are actually
one and the same.

“From me comes
forgetfulness and remembrance.”
The All-Powerful once said;
That nothing happens without
a cause is the dominant
principle of Physics;
Anyone who portrays
the role of a wise must
admit that there are
those who are wiser;

No one is higher
than the most high,
No one is wiser
than the most wise,
No one is lesser than the least;
And it is foolish for a fool
to claim that he is wise
while denying the existence
of The Most Wise.

That I can still
perceive the wrong,
for that alone I should be glad;
That I can still discern
is all I need to learn;
Where nonsense is common
common sense is not common;
Forgetfulness and remembrance,
in reality, are inner whims
of a fortune-less moron.

"I hope, at least, I have one
who truly understands me."
One of the loneliest phrase
that I’ve heard from a teacher,
from A Man of Authority; Truly,
the road to perdition is wide
one need not search to be there;
 but the road that
leads to His Kingdom
is thorny and narrow,
and who goes there
are but few and rare.

Lovingly given freely
was the gems of wisdom;
But the recipients are dupes
and full of misconceptions;
instead of eternal, they’ll
 choose the temporary;
instead of happiness,
they’ll prepared misery;
instead of knowledge,
they’ll resolve
to baloney.
